Under the ownership of Caesars Entertainment, the Flamingo hotel and casino includes over 3,500 hotel rooms to choose from and an extensive 77,000 sq ft casino to keep you entertained. It was the third hotel to ever open its doors on the Las Vegas strip (with a modest 105 rooms at the time) and it’s now the longest-standing hotel that’s still opening.
Situated just across from Caesars Palace, what stands out about this vintage hotel is its Miami and South Beach-style architecture. You’ll see plenty of neon lights and art-deco style decorations to make you feel as though you’re at the beach, as well as an outdoor garden courtyard and tropical wildlife habitat featuring flamingos (which is open to the public free of charge every day). There’s also a 15-acre water playground built in a true Caribbean style, coupled with a poolside bar and cafe.
The Room & Suite Selection
Like any good Vegas hotel, there is a big selection of rooms at the Flamingo so you can opt for something simple or something more extravagant. Many of the rooms are available as a non-smoking room or smoking room, so be sure to make your selection when you book. Also keep in mind that some of the Fab Rooms and Go Rooms have views of the 550-ft tall High Roller, which is an asset worth considering if your budget can stretch a bit further.
