Saturday, March 9 is the annual Chance for Life fundraiser at MGM National Harbor, featuring a Texas Hold ‘Em style poker tournament, top chef taste experience, and a glamorous Vegas-style after party.
Join over 700 amateur poker players to compete for the top 30 prize-winning spots and the ultimate grand prize of a $10,000 seat at the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. The event includes a top-shelf open bar, sprawling buffet, silent auction, celebrities, and more throughout the day. The poker tournament begins at 11:30 a.m. and poker players also have complimentary access to the Taste Experience that evening.

Chance for Life was created in 2005 in honor of Kennedy Snyder, who was diagnosed with an aggressive spinal cord tumor at age two. What began as a small get-together is now an established non-profit that holds one of the DC area’s top charity events. Its 14th annual celebration is presented by The Boeing Company, hosted by MGM National Harbor, and powered by RedPeg. 100% of net proceeds go to fund vital pediatric cancer research at Children’s National Health System and through Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.
The MGM Resorts East Coast Poker Tour features events at MGM National Harbor, MGM Springfield, and Borgata.

The top 90 participants on the MGM Resorts East Coast Poker Tour leaderboard will receive entry into Borgata Fall Poker Open / MGM Resorts East Coast Poker Tour $2,000,000 Guaranteed Championship scheduled on November 15-20, 2020. See additional prizes.

At least 100 players, including five winners of the previous tournament series championships, five randomly selected participants (one from each tournament) and the top 90 participants on the leaderboard will receive a complimentary two-night stay at Borgata and entry into the Borgata Fall Poker Open / MGM Resorts East Coast Poker Tour $2 Million Guaranteed Championship on November 15-20, 2020.
